Do you believe in Happy Coincidences???

Hello all, it’s the month of April 2021. With COVID cases rising sharply across the country, the threat of another lockdown and confining ourselves to our homes is a possibility we need to accept. Exactly a year ago, during the first lockdown, my inner voice, which wanted to write blogs and influence people, grew louder, and here I am on my 10th blog.

It has been a fantastic experience to blog every month with topics that have significantly impacted who I am today.

In August last year, when I wrote my first blog, I told myself I would find an inspiring topic for my readers every month. Well, did I have a clue about the subjects for my upcoming blogs? The answer is NO. But I was optimistic and curious to explore, which helped me with intriguing topics to blog month after month. I knew I would be bestowed with the right topic at the right time.

Every topic I opted for was a result of a coincidence in my life. So in this blog, I will talk about "How the universe answers our questions through coincidences."

I believe that coincidences are answers from the Universe, through events or people to those questions that we desire deeply to find clues and possibilities.

The key is to trust the Universe and develop a belief that everything works out for the best eventually. Be curious and open about finding ways to accomplish your tasks/ change habits/ achieve goals, and allow the Universe to guide you by asking the right questions.

This is my experience. Most of the time, when I ask the question, the answers emerge through either an encounter with a person or an event.

Can you connect to what I am conveying here?

Whenever I have felt low or stuck at something, I usually take some time off, look at what's app status or Instagram, and Voila, that message on the status or Instagram provides me with a new approach. It has even solved my problem instantly or has relieved me from an emotional dilemma.

So the truth is, when a coincidence arises, there can be an underlying message or an opportunity for us to consider a different perspective. But the sad fact is that not many of us are keen to discover any further.

Like they say – “Ask, and you shall receive”.  You will be able to produce answers to your smallest dilemmas and find ways to accomplish your biggest desires if you lead your life with awareness and an open mind.

Let me narrate a few minor and major incidents that I call coincidences or answers to my questions.

The first-ever self-help book I read was “You can heal your life” by Louise Hay, and at that time, I never knew that reading this book would reveal a new direction to my life. But what amazes me even today about opting to read this book is the TIMING!. Though I was advised to read this book for almost a year by my husband, I never took it seriously. Only in December 2019 did I open the book and started to read. It took me nearly three months to reach the end of the book, and by then, I had discovered my passion of becoming a Life Coach. The last pages of the book talked about the training and workshops conducted by Hay House for aspiring coaches. However, what disappointed me was that these workshops were conducted only in person.

I was looking for online coaching since I was a mother of a 3-year-old, and the world then was going through the initial phases of the Pandemic. I remember asking myself, how would I accomplish this burning desire of mine? And I started looking for online training to become a Life Coach. After exploring for four days straight, I saw a pop up on my Instagram, from Indias’s most Esteemed Life Coach, Puja Puneet. She was launching her online course for the first time. The name of the course was ‘Passion to Profit’ (DivaPreneur by Design). Though this was not exactly what I was looking for, I still joined, since I was curious about it and my intuition said I would find a way out, through it. My heart said that it was a message to me from the Universe.

And today, after a year, I would say that from being advised to read the right book and being a tortoise in reaching the end of the book on the same week in March when Puja launched her courses was all a coincidence for me to find the right direction in my life. I went on to take up Puja's Level 2 and Level 3 courses, and now I am a Certified Life Coach. While this was a major instance of coincidences transforming my life, I would like to narrate a few minor ones. Perhaps, you can relate to them.

After reading Louise Hay’s book, my interest in Self-help books grew in leaps and bounds, and after reading a few more, I wondered which book to read next, and this question kept lingering in my mind for a while. And in the same week, I receive a message from an old school friend who congratulated me on my first blog by saying the following

"The blog wonderfully conveyed that you found your Ikigai in being a Life Coach".

The word Ikigai was the answer to my question, so I started reading my next book – “Ikigai”– “The Japanese secret to a long and a happy life”. Again, the timing was perfect. It helped me strengthen my beliefs about my passion and purpose in life.

Likewise, when I had to make my second Youtube video on “Fear of Failure”, I remember brainstorming about the content and exploring further. The same evening, my aunt called me casually, and our conversation was about how setbacks in our lives lead us to more remarkable things. And the word Setback was more than enough for me to build my content for the video on the ‘Fear of Failure’.

In the movie ‘MS Dhoni, The Untold Story’, Dhoni’s friends talk about how Dhoni would have made a difference to the Indian team if he played in the 2003 World Cup while watching the world cup on Television in the railway quarters. Immediately after the world cup, the Indian Cricket board created a talent search committee to recruit potential players directly to the National team cutting through the red tape. And the committee selected M S Dhoni, who was drafted into the Indian team and became a legendary Cricketer and an inspiration to the small-town people who dared to dream big. M S Dhoni made use of the smallest opportunity given to him by the Indian Board when it seemed like all doors were closed to him. Don’t you think forming a talent search committee for the first time in INDIA was a happy coincidence for Dhoni?

Most certainly. Isn’t it?

I firmly believe that there are no accidents in the Universe. The fact that you are reading this blog is a happy coincidence that the Universe (God or whatever higher power you believe in) has guided you to make a shift towards a transformation that can positively impact your life.
